Wuhan Newrathon Technology Co., Ltd has developed GameraSnap, which is intended to be used as is. Information Collection and Use

This application may process the following categories of information only when needed for core GameraSnap features:

  • Garmin watch communication data: Bluetooth and Connect IQ related permissions are used only to keep communication stable between your Garmin watch and the Android application, including message delivery and remote camera control.
  • Camera and microphone permissions: Used only when you actively take photos or record videos.
  • WeChat / Alipay account information: When you choose WeChat or Alipay for sign-in, payment, or purchase restore, we may receive the account identifier, display name, avatar, order status, and payment result returned by the platform or our service backend. These details are used only for sign-in verification, payment confirmation, entitlement binding, restore purchases, and support.
  • Device identifiers and local activation data: Used to validate activation, support legacy code compatibility, and reduce abuse. These details are stored locally whenever possible and are sent to our server only when you intentionally log in, pay, bind a legacy activation code, or refresh access status.

Third-party SDK for Mainland China Version

To improve product experience and operational analysis, the Mainland China version of GameraSnap integrates the Umeng Mobile Statistics SDK.

  • SDK Name: Umeng Mobile Statistics SDK
  • Developer: Umeng Tongxin (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.
  • Package Name: com.umeng.commonsdk
  • Purpose: App usage statistics, page access analysis, product optimization, and basic anti-fraud.
  • Timing of Activation: SDK pre-initialization will occur when the app starts; the Umeng statistics capability will be fully initialized and enabled only after you agree to this Privacy Policy.
  • Information Processed: According to Umeng's official personal information processing rules, the Umeng SDK will process device information, device identifiers, network information, basic application information, etc., to complete statistical analysis and ensure report accuracy. The specific scope of processing is subject to Umeng's official disclosure.
  • Scope of Application: This SDK is used only for the Mainland China distribution version; the Google Play version does not integrate Umeng statistics.

Background Communication Protection

When a Garmin watch is connected, GameraSnap may enable a foreground-service notification and guide you to review notification or battery optimization settings so the app is less likely to be terminated in the background while watch communication is active.
These permissions and settings are used only to keep communication stable between your Garmin watch, Garmin Connect, and GameraSnap, and are not used for advertising or unrelated data collection.

Security

We value your trust in providing us with your personal information, and we are striving to use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
